Congrats on starting your fast! By the way, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, and yet I am finishing my Masters and going for my PhD. I had never heard that it made you slow. I am glad I didn't, or I would have believed it. Anyway, check out Raddish's blog. Her fast has actually "cured" her hypothyroidism, and I am also finding that my symptoms are melting away, too. And they have told us that we will be on medicine for the rest of our lives, and we will be in danger if we stop taking the medicine. Well, they have taken her off her medicine.
