thanks so much for your post! I was a bit queasy when I read it at first, because the only way to insert the toxic-eating bacteria was to genetically modify the plant. a lot of people will be very concerned about this. I do not believe that ALL genetic engineering is "bad"; however, we must proceed with much caution when using this approach. This particular example seems to show the genius the human race is capable of. I would be concerned, however, if the GMO approach starts involving trees and other plants. There is always the potential to contaminate native species and forever change their genetic makeup.

I also believe that the planet is NOT doomed, but it will take a lot of people becoming awake and aware of Gaia as a living BEing, not just a large rock to dump our excrement and waste upon. See the article below: I do believe that Gaia will cleanse herself by any means necessary, even if it means the deaths of many humans in the process; however, I do not believe the whole human race will be destroyed. Example: Southeast Asian tsunami, recent hurricanes, etc.

Isaac George, who channels ArchAngel Ariel, discusses scientist James Lovelock's theory that we are "past the point of no return" re: the environmental degradation of the Earth.
