Was yours the hormonal IUD or the copper IUD - cause I'm not looking forward to that period thing again. I know what you mean about not being able to leave the house for 3 days. I couldn't go grocery shopping without the tamplon leaking - even the super ones barely lasted an hour! It was horrible. I had to go to a conference for work and I kept having to leave the room to go to the bathroom, everyone kept staring at me and giving me dirty looks for interrupting the conference!

I was hoping maybe that would get better over time. I really don't want to go have it taken out again (I'm sure that's just as painful as the insertion and that was so bad I was sick and nauseous for hours, every time I tried to stand I would come close to blacking out and have to lay down again).
