I had an IUD for 4 years and had no idea how much problems it was causing really until I had it removed and felt normal again. i had the worst periods I have ever had in my life the whole time I had it .. to the point where I could barely leave the house for 3 days ..... it was so heavy i spent alot of time in the bathroom.it caused me to be really wet all the time- i was starting to think I had a bladder problem but it went away once I had it removed.. I think my body was try to reject it. Also I no this sounds strange but I couldnt find a deoderant that worked for me anymore(armpits im talking) my pits smelt so bad I couldnt stand it ... that also when away with having it removed as well. seems strange eh but I think my body was trying its damndest to remove it. I have also heard that they screw with your hormones and cause weight gain which I think I agree with ... I feel alot better having it out. Although I do have a friend who has one and has no problems, soo just thought Id give u a view point.
