When you duplicated the words deep-deep & retreat-retreat it had the impact of making an echoing vibration in my inner ear. There was something magical about it. I almost wish I could have had another repeated word toward the end of your poem to give it that push it needed to send that echo out to the stars. I really enjoyed your poem. Your poet's voice comes through in a strong way.
