Dark Matter is the title Astronomers bestowed upon the black mass that exists betwixt all things; therefore, this "Dark Matter" composes approximately 99% of our known universe.

When 99% of our known universe is black as pitch, light is the only exception. If you have "no clue" what Dark Matter is or may be, then perhaps it would be wise to find out. It is all too easy and idealistic to view all things as being graced by Divine light, but as said previously 99% of all we can fathom is utter emptiness; sheer desolation; the haunting black mass that binds all things:

Light is the illusionary contrast created by the senses in the absence of darkness. Darkness is not an absence of light, or anything else. On the contrary, the existence of darkness causes our mind and senses to "create" the light in contrast to the dark.
