Perhaps what you need to do is sit down with a pad and pen and list all the challenges you're facing on this fast and then brain storm ideas for solutions to get through those challenges without having to break the fast.
You're having problems with the juices. You're saying you can't stomach them, does this mean, you merely dislike the tastes or does this mean they upset your stomach? If it is the former, there are ways you can make the veggie juice taste better, you just need to play around.
For the base of my VEGGIE juices to make them tastier because green veggies are bitter by themselves, for a 16 ounce glass of juice:
4-5 med-large carrots
2 apples (prefer Granny Smith for tartness)
1 celery stalk
To that base, I add anything else I want which is usually, for example:
1/4 beet and a few beet tops (excellent for the blood and liver!)
handful spinach or parsley (chlorophyll)
few heads of brocolli (cancer fighter)
handful green beans (insulin regulator)
half cucumber (hair and skin adores this veggie)
quarter large bell pepper (very high in C and one of the densest veggies)
There are many tasty recipes. But the base of carrots and apples keeps the bitterness of the greens to a minimum. Most juice recipes usually use the carrot/apple as a base for the rest of the ingredients. I will be listing various recipes for juices on my blog here and there.
You do need GREEN veggies as much as fruits. Try to keep a balance with your fruits and veggies. Variety is important because not all fruits and veggies are created equal. Some offer these nutrients but not enough of those nutrients, whereas this veggie or fruit does off those nutrients. By educating yourself on the properties of fruits and veggies you can see which ones have what nutrients.
Celery is good for the electrolytes they offer. Parsley is superb as a diuretic and for the chlorophyll. Green bean juice helps to regulate insulin... Maybe educate yourself on the various properties of the juices and tailor your fast to what you believe your body needs to heal.
So, if you can make a list of your challenges then brainstorm solutions and research your veggies and fruits for the healing effects they each offer, you may be able to tailor your fast so to get through this easier.
In addition, make some hot veggie broths to sip on throughout the days as well... this will offer some variety too.
I always try to plan ahead for those crisises of boredom, of frustration, weakening will power and so on... Planning the details, even the most insignificant details, of a prolonged juice fast really do help! Alot.
Good luck!!
