I've always loved the counter culture approach of Adbusters. I saw the owner interviewed on a mainstream news program once and it was quite revealing. The talking head anquor grilled him trying to make him look "odd" for promoting not shopping. "Aren't you worried what that will do TO the economy" she spouted in true trained monkey robot fashion.

I pictured her getting in to her SUV after work fighting her way to COSTCO and on the way jostlng into her fur coat and applying makeupp tested on defenceless animals....you get the picture. ....and we are the "abnormal" ones....LOL


No shopping day? Heck lets make it the entire week! Infact lets get off the grid and make it the rest of our lives. ;-)
