Hi, Tom.

This is a good question. I posted this for myself, as I tend to bitch and whine to myself a lot about my life in the physical, earthplane of existence. In this context, "blessing" has more to do with feeling grateful for what I have in my material life, not that Spirit/God has "blessed" the haves and has not blessed the "have-nots". In Spirit's eyes, we are all blessed.

This is a reminder to myself to be grateful for what I DO have: a home, clothes on my back, food in my 'frig, a car to drive, and in comparison to at least 1/3 of the world's population, or 2 BILLION people, I am indeed materially "rich". My relatively "cushy" life--which isn't cushy by the United State's materialistic standards but is by the world's standards, affords me the luxury of sitting at an expensive laptop to hack out stuff like this! My sister actually gave this to me, I believe it was $1000 after rebates. Just think, with 1/3 the world's people living off of less than $2 a day, how much food $1000 could buy such a family!

That is what I mean by posting this, to remind myself to be in gratitude for what I DO have, and not whine and moan so much about my own life circumstances.
