Yes!! Mother Earth is a living, breathing BEing, with a consciousness all Her own, but most of us, including myself until not too long ago, think of Her as being a non-living chunk of rock with water on it that's just revolving around the sun, there for our use. I'm coming to believe as animists do, that EVERYTHING on the planet, including the stones, rocks, dirt, dust, minerals, crystals, water--what we ususally think of as "non-living"--really do have their own earth-energy. That's a major leap for me, raised in a "scientific" family of chemists!

Glad this post inspired you! Come to think of it, I'm inspired too--I'm going to post a poem I co-created with Spirit 3 years ago called "She is Life"...!
