Fantastic, Leslie! Maybe it's your "inner Rabbi" coming out? Or maybe you were singing the Song of the All-That-Is!

I had this happen to me once. I was lying on a massage table, having a healing session with Rabbi M, when I went into a vision state and saw myself standing, all dressed in white, at the back of an old synagogue with wooden benches. The benches were filled to capacity with Orthodox Rabbis, all with long beards and prayer shawls. My Spiritual Grandfather, a Rabbi of some renown, who I'd seen before in another vision, looked back over his shoulder, saw me, and beckoned me to come in. This was unusual as I was the only woman in the place. The Rabbis were singing a nagun, a spiritual song, where the melody is deep and melancholy; usually there are words in Hebrew but this one had no words. I started singing the melody in a deep voice. Rabbi M started to sing with me. It was the most beautiful thing. I'd never sung like that in my life. I have such a yearning to be able to sing like that again. It is such a wonderful thing to be able to express oneself through song.
