i think i have already written such a poem... and it came easily after an inspirational feast of listening to some of our all time greats... for which i thank you so very much for the link...

forgive me for not being more responsive of late... but i have indeed been at the mercy of some sort of hideous bug that doesn't want to give up the ghost... lol... but i'll kill it...
even if it kills me in the process...
and on top of it all... an earache...
haven't had such since childhood...
the nerve of some of these bugs...
don't they know who they are dealing with...???
hmmmmm... i guess not...
poor... poor... pitiful me... :-(

i think i'll live in spite of it all...
for i always strive to cling to the good...
sometimes have to accept the chips as they fall...
and know that it's a wonderful day in our neighborhood...
