If the truth be known; on average there are around ten deaths per month; in normal ship board operations...{peace time} I have seen several which we will not elaborate at this time...  But over all it is an exciting and at times grueling experience..  Life on the sea has it's ups and downs, much like the action of the waves on the sea it self... You learn to respect the sea....  I know I did....
