>>>In the turbulent, drug culture of the 60s, Bhajan first reached out to the ?>youth. He recognized their experimentation with drugs and “altered states of >consciousness” expressed a deeper desire to experience a holistic, liberating >sense of awareness. Soon realizing that pharmaceuticals provided, at best, a cheap >imitation to the peaceful, inner euphoria they could get naturally from Kundalini, >and at worst, had debilitating physical and mental side effects, young people >began flocking to his classes, arriving by the busloads. it must be close to four years since i first took a serious interest in yoga... and then the only reason... was in quest to enhance my spiritual growth... i guess yoga could be classified as doing post graduate work when it comes to seeking spirituality... i wonder what the impact would be if our educational systems were revamped to include "kundalini" at the earliest ages possible... yet instead... our educational system seems bent of doing just the opposite... do you suppose it is directed that way purposefully... so that we all grow up to be obedient citizens..."controlled by our own fears"... when one takes a serious look at our educational systems... and religious trainings... we see the major part of the conditioning that holds us all in bondage...???
ahhhhh...
but then...
we all knows...
that it is indeed...
"a wonderful day in the neighborhood boys and girls"...
lol...
