I've been trying to put my studies & newfound information into practice, but it's easier said than done sometimes. I lack motivation, but obviously you don't, so maybe some of what I've learned can be put to good use by you. I'm sure you know about how to come off the cleanse, so I'll just give you what I know about maintaining good health. Everything I've read continues to point in the direction of a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, with as much of it raw as possible. 75-100% raw is ideal, from all that I've read. I've read various books, websites, talked to experts, & I can't think of any reason why a healthy diet would need to include meat, so that would be my 1st suggestion. As far as raw, it's proven that cooking food will kill off the enzymes in it, and those enzymes are what your body needs to digest the food properly. If you "kill" (cook) your food before you eat it, then your body will have to produce the enzymes to digest it, when they could be healing your body. If you use up all your body's resources to digest dead food, then the rest of your body will become neglected & eventually that leads to premature aging & all the ills that go along with it (cancer, diabetes, etc). Wheat & dairy are known allergens & many people, while not allergic, are sensitive to them, so there's no good health reason to include them in your diet either. Ideally, a vegan, raw diet would be best for a long healthy life. That, and a moderate amount of exercise. Food in its natural (organic) state will provide all the nutrients you need. I would check out the raw vegetarian forum on here for more information. Here are some other good sites.

You may already know all this stuff, but if not, then maybe these will appeal to you. Also, wheatgrass juice is invaluable for good health. Good luck to you. Sorry I couldn't offer more help. Keep us posted on your progress! It's exciting to at least hear that others are succeeding in changing their health, even if I haven't gotten there yet!
