i was thinking... just today...
how freedom... might be wrought...
it has to do with letting go...
i don't think it can be bought...

my most profound spiritual experience...
and one i hold in high regard...
was at the crosswalk of an intersection...
and the passing of a retard...

he was the last in line... as he made his way across the street...
reminded me of the energizer bunny... the way he shuffled his feet...
i noticed that he was totally oblivious of me... our eyes did never meet...
ecstactically smiling ear to ear... and the journey was his treat...

as i marveled at the beauty... of his joyful happy face...
my heart was filled with overwhelming love...
i noticed i had envy... and wanted what he had...
and it came as if a lightning bolt... that maybe...
the life of a retard aint that bad...
lol...
