the monkey brain... is quite insane...
and it can clearly... drive one mad...
once you know... who you truly are...
you realize... you've been had...

when you have the whim... you take a swim...
all the dangers... i can't imagine what...
exercise... keeps you fit and trim...
ohh... but what about that yatch...

the doodads on the water... all silvery and white...
ten thousand little angles... that danced in pure delight...
the fabric of existence... twix the water and the sky...
for you a clear division... have you ever wondered why...?

you my dear... are clearly blessed...
and always striving to do your best...
so... do your best and let it go...
stressing... will not make it so...

it is not as i would have it be...
those words resound inside of me...
such a funny thing... for just today...
i had those very words to say...

a very funny thing... coincidence...
suppose things can be prearranged...
i always think of the twi-light zone...
and thinks meself... somewhat deranged...

and yes of course... it's very clear...
just let go... and enjoy the ride...
close your eyes... if you wish my dear...
but take lifes trials... in stride...

so keep your wits about you...
and keep the monkey on a chain...
and do the things you want to do...
true to thineself... thy must remain...
