You do not have all the facts:

Experts: 90 percent of Americans could be killed — within the year

Back in 2015 I wrote a piece about something called the Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) threat — and as expected, there were those in the liberal progressive media who demeaned and disparaged the piece.

I think I even made a reference to my watching too much Star Trek or something.

Well, I don’t like saying I told you so, but sadly, that which I and others in Texas have been talking about is indeed a real concern for the nation — a threat that can’t be dismissed, as the Obama administration did. (Texas is the only state in the United States that has its own power grid, which as you’ll see, is critical to surviving such an attack.)

Remember, it was former National Security Adviser Susan Rice who penned an op-ed for the New York Times admonishing us to just accept, and live with, a nuclear North Korea. Wrong doggone answer, ma’am!

It was just a few years ago that a copy of the Iranian national security strategy was attained and translated. It specifically discussed the use of an EMP attack.

As reported by the Washington Examiner,

Congress was warned Thursday that North Korea is capable of attacking the U.S. today with a nuclear EMP bomb that could indefinitely shut down the electric power grid and kill 90 percent of “all Americans” within a year.

At a House hearing, experts said that North Korea could easily employ the “doomsday scenario” to turn parts of the U.S. to ashes.

In calling on the Pentagon and President Trump to move quickly to protect the grid, the experts testified that an explosion of a high-altitude nuclear bomb delivered by a missile or satellite “could be to shut down the U.S. electric power grid for an indefinite period, leading to the death within a year of up to 90 percent of all Americans.

Of course, the response of the liberal progressive leftists will be that we’re just being alarmists … and so was Sir Winston Churchill while Neville Chamberlain was the precursor to Barack Obama.

An EMP attack is, just as the article states, a high-altitude detonation of a nuclear device. All that exists below in the target area would be subjected to an immense power surge that will fry the power generation grid beneath. And I mean everything.

The fact that we have done very little in the face of this threat — while the advancement of this potential capability continues in the hands of a sociopath — is just repeating history, namely that which involved Adolf Hitler. At least Texas is in a unique position to act quickly because of its self-contained grid.

And, who was it — oh yes, a chucklehead named Spike Lee — who stated that he feared Donald Trump more than Kim Jung Un. This is just a reminder of the delusion of the progressive socialist Left, and why they can NEVER be in a position of power in our Republic.

We should all go back and watch Bill Clinton talk about how great and safer the world was because North Korea was ending its nuclear program. And, if you watch Barack Obama’s claims about the Iranian nuclear deal, well, the similarities are striking.

When North Korea fired an ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) that traveled over the sovereign nation, and U.S. ally, of Japan, that was grounds enough for the world to crush Kim Jung Un. Yet, we still seem to follow the failed Obama position of strategic patience.

No, I don’t want a war, but when the devil’s knocking at your door, you can try to ignore him, let him in, or bust a cap off in his arse.

I’d choose the last of those three choices, and prefer to do it as I see the devil walking up to my door. We can ill afford to wait for North Korea to knock, as they’ve already done.

If said device is ever detonated in the atmosphere, the land mass below will suffer a horrendous consequence — and just think of how we’re struggling with the recovery from Hurricanes Irma and Maria in Puerto Rico. There are three power grid systems in America, one in the East, another in the West, and Texas.

There are no great endings to this story, but there’s a solution, one which the world failed to take in the 1930s, and we all know the end result there.

The collusion between Iran and North Korea is known. Soon, we hope, President Trump will de-certify the Iranian nuclear deal (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), which Tennessee Senator Bob Corker helped put in place, so that we can end this folly started by Bill Clinton and carried on by Barack Obama.

I pray that we can then begin to develop the strategic objectives to thwart the goals of the Iranians and North Koreans …. as aided and abetted by Russia and China.

What’s the end game? Simple: Utilize this capability in a small manner and then threaten the United States if we don’t withdraw our forces from the Korean Peninsula and Japan. This isn’t Star Trek or Star Wars, or even the James Bond film Golden Eye; this is for real, and unlike that and other movies, there are no “retakes.” According to the Examiner’s report,

William R. Graham, chairman of the former EMP commission and its former chief of staff, Peter Vincent Pry, told Congress that the U.S. has ignored the warning signs for years and that North Korea’s military moves this year must be seen as a wake-up call.

Their testimony also highlighted the failure of the Pentagon or Congress to extend the life of the EMP Commission and they recommended deeper study into the threat …” Our current vulnerability invites attack,” they said.

The testimony also pointed out that,

* Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea’s nuclear arsenal was primitive, some academics claiming it had as few as 6 A-Bombs. Now the intelligence community reportedly estimates North Korea has 60 nuclear weapons.

* Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea’s ICBMs were fake, or if real could not strike the U.S. mainland. Now the intelligence community reportedly estimates North Korea’s ICBMs can strike Denver and Chicago, and perhaps the entire United States.

* Just six months ago, most experts thought North Korea was many years away from an H-Bomb. Now it appears North Korea has H-Bombs comparable to sophisticated U.S. two-stage thermonuclear weapons.

* Just six months ago, most experts claimed North Korean ICBMs could not miniaturize an A-Bomb or design a reentry vehicle for missile delivery. Now the intelligence community reportedly assesses North Korea has miniaturized nuclear weapons, and has developed reentry vehicles for missile delivery, including by ICBMs that can strike the U.S.

Their conclusion: “After massive intelligence failures grossly underestimating North Korea’s long-range missile capabilities, number of nuclear weapons, warhead miniaturization, and proximity to an H-Bomb, the biggest North Korean threat to the U.S. remains unacknowledged — nuclear EMP attack.”

Three years ago, in 2015 I wrote about this. I was trying to start a discussion about the importance of hardening our electrical power grid in Texas.

Today, this is certainly no joke to be laughed at, and we should hold the previous Clinton and Obama administrations accountable for the insanity of making agreements with the devils we know –North Korea and Iran.

No one should ever seek to start a war, but we all should want to survive one.
