It would be a good thing if the defenders & practitioners of Oriental medicine made a distinction between orthodox cut/burn/poison/kill western medicine and the less harmful forms of western medicine, such as herbology, for instance, even though western herbology may not have the heavily organized unifying principles of classical or traditional Oriental medicine. Just my 2 cents' worth.
Also, once you have some knowledge of all 3 systems, you can't just pretend you have never heard of the ones you don't regularly practice. I suspect that when you are treating a patient or even just trying to figure out a health challenge, you will be unconsciously applying your knowledge of the other systems even when you think you are using only one or the other.
