Wow, thats powerfull stuff Michael.

Your story opened my eyes to another possibility too, my visitor could be one of two young people who died near hear in the past couple years... because I was having a lot of very vivid dreams with young guys like those two in the dreams, but none of my dreams were about the guy who used to live in this apartment [who I assumed was "haunting" me].

What we seem to know for sure is that some people have difficulty accepting they are dead... and that we do them, and everyone, ourselves included, a big favor by helping to coax them to the other side.

They say these ghosts tend to come to people who have the gift of "empathy" - dictionary: "experiencing the feelings, thoughts, or attitudes of another."

I had to look it up, I thought it meant helpfull types, like sympathy, but it doesn't... but that too is likely attractive to ghosts.

You must be like that to not freak out and push them away in your dream. Actually, the two dead young men were real shitheads, messed up, violent, not likeable, drunkards, and if they came to me in dreams, I would run - in the dreams they had knives, and I ran.

Other dreams were different though - dreaming I was dreaming that I heard breathing in my dreams, and I woke up, but was I awake or just back to dream #1, then I heard the breathing again, it came towards my room, it came in, around the bed, I wasn't afraid, it was ok somehow. AND THEN IT CRAWLED INTO BED AND WENT TO SLEEP.

I could not tell if I was awake or dreaming half the day, because I kept nodding off.

It had gotten too weird. Thats when my old friend Debbie showed up, out of the blue...

We just cannot pretend to know everything about our world.
