I did one week prefast. greek yogurt and pineapple, and exercise. and 1 week on water. The water was really tough. I was going to go 30 days but plateau'd at 175.9 for 3 days. people in the waterfast support forum informed me if i fasted for 30 days on water to lose weight I would be really dissappointed. So funny thing, I broke the fast yesterday on fruit and did some light exercise. today I weighed in at 173! I was able to eat fruit and still lost 2 pounds.
From here I'm going to eat healthy and exercise until I reach my goal 155. The fast helped in so many ways. I'm no longer, craving carbs, sugars or alcohol. I eat watermelon, all kinds of berries, mango and really savor the natural taste in the fruit. The thought of eating something artificial or greesy makes me sick! never thought I'd see the day. How is your fast coming along so far? Are you doing juice or water?
