Thank you for posting this! it's honest, it's truthful, it's painful. I think many elders will relate to it, especially women. we may appear to be brave and strong, but there definitely are moments when we need love and affection and attention, too.

thanx for writing this. it struck a cord. we can say we don't need anyone else in our lives, but it does get lonely at times.
