Personally, I prefer bare floors and bare feet. But for those who use carpeting, my enviro vote goes to InerfaceFLOR based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

They were green before it got popular, and I like the CEO's commitment. I've installed this modular carpeting and it was beautiful and seamless.

The Atlanta facility accepts OLD CARPET FOR RECYCLING! I don't know of any other carpet manufacturer that does this, which is why I purchased from them some years ago.
