The name is usury. As far as I know it is specifically concerning adding "interest" on loans, making "money" on money lent. That practice was forbidden in the old testament.

Then in the new testament even the "loan" itself was discouraged and gifting was encouraged instead!
Also this Shakespeare Quote:

For loan oft loses both itself and friend,

One of my favorite stories in the new testament is that of Jesus casting out the money changers from the temple court.
