 While you do have a great writing style and sense of development; there is one lesson I learned!

 Yes you are correct about the loss of life (epically among the women and children) in any or most of the areas of the world where there is conflicts or some form of war...  This is especially high in Africa, and Asia, where 3 out of 4 causalities are women or children!  It is not limited to the US involvement... 

 Actually, if you had to choose a Army to invade your country, it would prove better to be the US than almost any other!  Invasion is never a good thing  for sure;  but the statistics are much better if it is a Western Army...  Less rapes, few if any mass murders, generally protection and food assistance is offered!

 We can give statistics showing the actual treatment and deaths from various groups in the past 100 years, and it nearly always comes out that having the US as your enemy, would be preferred, if that were possible!  While it is not good it would be better!
