I like the way you used the quotes
and interspersed your own commentaries.

Fascinating to hear about the Hermes part and
the alchemical parr.

I was spending time with MARY ELIZABETH WAKEFIELD
yesterday at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM post conference.

Her paper at the conference
was called ALCHEMICAL FACIAL
ACUPUNCTURE RENEWAL.

She became a Beet Keeper
and joined the Enchanted Garden Club.
She was one of five who joined at this event.

RE: SNAKE

Last year, I just came home
from up in Hidden Valley.
PARIS informed me that as he
stepped out the house a little bit before I came home,
there was a large snake sunning itself right on the front
pathway. He and the snake communed
for some time.

Then, when I came up, the snake was still there.
He alerted me.

By the time I came close I saw it go into the bushes.
I went in and got my camera. When I came out,
I could still see parts of it. I have never seen that
kind of snake before or here. Over the years,
I have seen snakes here once or twice, but
nothing as elegant of a snake as this.
I have a photo of parts of the snake.

When I was a teen, my friend, now author
RICHARD LAPIDUS and I would travel to BORREGO
from L.A. to go snake hunting, but that is another story.
