How about this for reality: the solution to the [supposed] global warming is the same solution as reducing toxic pollution, as well as the solution to dependance on foreign oil - SO WHY NOT JUST DO IT??

Please reply to that... why NOT get our economy "decarbonised"? One more reason: it will actually SAVE us money within 10 years to be getting 50% of our energy from renewables.

I think that all the denialists should sign an agreement that "if or when" global warming becomes undeniable, they will forfit something valuable. The thing they forfit should contribute to reducing emissions, such as their consumptive lifestyle.

I believe your opinion on the # of scientists is not factual, and comes from the oil interests.

The thing to keep in mind is that the effects of CO2 over 380ppm does not show up as warming right away, the full effect takes 100 years. The warming we are seeing now [for those of us who believe it] is a result of the first 50ppm rise above pre-industrial levels.

You are choosing to ignore a very serious reality.
