This is awesome! I'm planning on starting to grow stuff this fall when I move back to the East Coast and can afford a yard. Incidentally, if you would be interested in a different kind of "vacation", google WWOOF. You can volunteer at a farm and trade work for lodging. You could do it nearby or travel somewhere far (like Hawaii!) to do it. I'm thinking of doing it before I leave Hawaii to get started learing about growing gardens.
