I was a little tough on my Autistic daughter yesterday. The kind of art she has been drawing has been rather dark. I asked her to draw then paint something that would be a little more child friendly. She had a meltdown and refused. But then to my amazement she drew and painted an absolutely delightful painting for the gallery. I felt bad about being tough with her but... the results were wonderful... I will take a picture of the painting and post it here with permission?
