EG: "There are many stories about the Life of Jesus."

Indeed there are Brother!
In the fourth Gospel -
John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did,
which, if they were written one by one
I suppose that not even the world itself could contain the books written."

According to one commentary "This verse ... affirms that this Gospel is the record of selected things that serve the purpose of testifying to the matter of life and building."

EG: "Szekely, spends a lot of time in THE ESSENE ORIGINS of CHRISTIANITY given his argument that there were two Jesus'."

And Steiner indicates that as well! They came from two streams of humanity (a royal/kingly lineage and that of the "shepherds") that needed to be joined into one. Other scripture speaks of the joining of "Jew and Gentile", "Male and Female" as well as the ultimate joining of Man with God. These things indicate that Holy Oneness is the spiritual essence of Jesus the Christ. The "Epistle of Paul to the Ephesians" says: "For He Himself is our peace, He who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition ..."

EG: "What is the point of arguing about our different Religious beliefs?"

A good question! What is the point? Especially if it causes separation! I heard two gentlemen in a conversation on thew bus a couple days ago that moved from views a bout what is happening in the Middle East to the difference between Christianity and Buddhism. The conversation was convivial when I got on the bus, sat in the back as the bus and the conversation rolled along. Then when it got into the difference between what these two gentlemen "believed" there was a distinct moment where I felt an impact upon the spirit of conviviality and I immediately grieved the spiritual injury of that! Especially since I was holding a space of attentive listening to what each man had to say of the truth as he knew it for himself and that there was a potential for discovering "matters of life" and possibly "building". But that possibility was "lost" in a somewhat accusatory moment of disregard one man for the belief/s of the other when the spirit of oneness says "Let every man be convinced in his own heart".

EG: "What is the point of using scholarship or facts about history as we
know them to create argument?"

What's the point/benefit? Who profits? Surely not the Spirit nor the soul.

EG: "A Christian, a Jewish person, a Moslem are intended today
to have different ways of viewing God and Life, but the JuicY
part comes when inspite of our different viewpoints, we
can get beyond them to Love each other and live in peace."

Amen Brother!
Let us all remember that Christ Jesus was the friend of "the other" whomever that other was didn't matter as he loved one another and commanded us all to love one another. "Beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God and everyone that loves is born of God and Knows God. He that loves not, knows not God for God is Love."

Brother I came into your Blog with "Raw Milk" on my mind fresh from my latest research/readings regarding the Rights of the people and the fact that government is obligated to protect these rights. Some times people will ask: What would Jesus do?" I believe Jesus would do just exactly what he did and that was he drank raw milk from his own family's cow! His mother, brothers and sisters and he were nourishes by their own cow. And what might he say to those city dwellers who don't have an acre of green pasture for a family cow? I believe he would essentially say find a farmer, make friends with him and support him in caring for his cows.

I don't know what may come of the current raw milk controversy. I do know that there are people who realize they have to take responsibility for their own food. Some of these are joining together in associations and getting their own cows. Those who are able to do this may find many more blessings in addition to simply having a local source of milk the way they like it. I know not everyone can have their own cow. However most all people can come together in one way or another to form associations and thereby pull their many resources together for "the matter of life and building".

Blessings on all of our coming together throughout 2008!
