I can't believe I found you on the internet and that we have such similiar health problems as described in your blog. I've also have been in contact with Jackie (badbugs.org). She has been walking me through what I need to do here in Canada and what our medical system believes about D.F and Blasto. I have been treated for D.F. with 2 rounds of Iodoquinol and have had 2 good tests. I think I may have Blasto. but can not find a lab to confirm or negate this. I would accept the doctor's diagnosis of my having IBS if we had not found D.F. and had some improvement with the meds. I took. Now I want to completely rule out Blasto. Jackie said our Canadian labs are hit and miss with telling us if they find Blasto. because they have to believe it is a pathogen. Even after treating my D.F. and having good test results my doctor said it may have been a placebo effect. Annoying to say the least.

My question to you is this:

What doctor in the Okanagan, Kelowna area did you see that allowed you to be tested through the Genova lab in the U.S. My doctor would not be receptive to this and I need to be sure I am free of these parasites before I go on to any other testing/scoping/medicines as are being recommended.

I look forward to hearing back from you and wish you all the best with your health issues. I know some days can be hard but please don't lose hope for better health on on the horizon.
