I can't believe my luck on finding this site. I have been experiencing hip and joint pain for 3 - 4 years, at times it feels like my hips are misaligned and I have to hold onto a table to like adjust them before I can walk. The other side effect that I've been having lately is pain in my armpits. I've had fatigue, depression and headaches. I've had a really, really hard time losing weight (until recently) and I've told my OB about it for 3-4 years (I've had my IUD for 7).

I saw my OB in Sept and told her again and she NEVER related it to the IUD and told me to see an orthopedic dr for the hips. The orthopedic dr looked at my xrays and said they look great and that he didn't see any issues -- he is the one that suggested the IUD. I asked my OB about it and she said it was ridiculous. I still scheduled an appt to get it removed.

In the meantime of all of this, I noticed a lump on my upper right thigh and was diagnosed with a Lipoma (fatty benign tissue mass). These are generally harmless but with everything else I have going on (joint pain, fatigue, etc...) I'm convinced I have CANCER even though I was told by a surgeon that they're harmless. I HAVE CONVINCED MYSELF THAT I HAVE CANCER!!!!! For two weeks I haven't been able to function. I can't eat (10 lbs lost - yeah - but not the right way). I've barely been able to go to work or do anything because I think I HAVE CANCER. I can't sleep, eat or basically move. Every ache and pain makes me think I have this and here it might be from my IUD. And then I find this site and I read all these symptoms from that I'm experiencing because of my IUD.

I'm having it removed on the 23rd. I'll let everyone know how it goes and if I get results from having it taken out.
