I have experienced many of the same things since the mirena. My finger joints hurt every day, and I have migratory joint pain almost daily. One day it's in my left ankle and right knee, the next day it could be my left elbow, or my wrists or shoulder/s...there's no rhyme or reason to the location, it varies daily. The last few mornings it has been my left middle finger and right pinky that I can't bend. I've never had any health issues before, I went to my regular Dr. because one night I almost didn't make it across the hall because my ankles hurt so bad. He took blood and tested me for everything from rhumatoid arthritis to lyme disease...and all came back normal. So I have to believe after reading all the posts on this site that it is the Mirena, and I'm glad I found this site as no Dr.s or medical websites even mention joint pain as a side effect. Does anyone know if the pain disappears after the mirena is removed?? Thanks!
