I bought this after reading about it on the iodine forum. I posted a question there and got more confused. Trapper uses 1 part baking soda to 9 parts. Do you know what the rationale is for this (this makes it taste worse IMO) and also for exact exact measurements? I am making it by gallon and do not have a digital scale. Vulcanel also mentioned "don't forget to correct the calculation to account for the waters of hydration present in the citrate. Ignoring that will of course yield an ineffective concentration"

I would like to go with Uny's view, but would like confirmation, so as not to drink the altered taste water for nothing for one and two, not to waste. .Anything you can clarify, I certainly would appreciate it.
