I have a bit of a problem with this being ran on the "race" card. It is more about economic class than race.
Why would they place a large industrial polluting business in the middle of an upper middle class to wealthy neighborhood? A gas station and other service businesses perhaps, but that would be the extent of it.
That said, class discrimination is alive and well... and most everyone does it by association. Do you physically (on line does not count) have a very broad spectrum of friends you frequent, from the obscenely rich to the poverty poor?
Do you act and behave the same around all of them?
