Actually, you are saying:"the world would be more polluted..."

I am saying is that the good momemts speak to the heart- you feel them, you are grateful. On the flip side of the coin, is the negative (with degrees and everything)- something good happens, you're happy- the lesson can only come when all the bad stuff happens. Wisdom is in the middle- because a wise person already went through the bad and stands in face of it- and in the "happy" cases wisdom persists as a guide/compass not only for them but for others- e.x. don't look a gift horse in the mouth...
