The egg has been in the human diet since before recorded history!
As hunter gatherers no one would ever pass over a delicacy like an egg!
Besides I raise layer hens just for their eggs not their meat and it hurts their feelings when people say mean things about their products they give so generously to us humans!
They tell me its quite insulting to read such things from people!
Miss Buffy one of my yellow and black Buff Brahmas tells me it is not easy laying eggs and some times she would just like to take a break from this every day accurence but she knows how much pleasure I get from her gifts so keeps plucking and clucking away!
Remember chickens are people too!
