Humans have moved away from their beginnings.  I believe they started out tribal.  technology changed them into independent.  I do not know if this is a natural progression or not.  But, it takes away out interconnection.  Beyond that, humans have very individual tastes.  That was probably developed to the state it is today via technological advances.  myself, I like a simpler way of life.  The 70s were good.  But, still, we were going strong in the industrial revolution and that is what has got us into this mess.  Capitalism is the catalyst in all the technology, pollution and destruction of the earth.  In our society, the one with the gold makes the rules.  And, the ones with the gold see no problems.  The only problem they see is trying to make the consumer happy so they can make the most money.  Myself, I don't buy into many of the corporations that claim to be concerned, like BP oil and such.  They ultimately care about their bottom line is all.  I am not sure if humans are capable of going back to a more simple way where there was more respect and consideration for fellow humans.  It appears they were destined to become very individualistic.  It doesn't work very well when it comes to the planet earth.  It causes fairly rapid destruction.

IT'S GOOD TO BE KING
