I e-mailed my dream to my bee-woman friend, and this is what she wrote:

"What an amazing dream! In the hive the mother (queen) and the children (workers and drones) have a reciprocity that is very unique. The workers feed the egg and then newborn who will become queen differently than those who will be common members of the hive, primarily through feeding her royal jelly. They create and raise her. Then when she is mature she mates, returns and lays the eggs that they then tend, including continuing to care for and feed her. So, she gives life through the mating and egg laying, but the other members of the hive create her, care for her and the new young. They create her and she then gives life to those that will continue the cycle. It is very unique in the cycles of interconnection."
