Hey, Liora,
It's pretty scary-- so many things going on all at once, and it's easy to blame Bush. It's easy to blame, period, but what if it's true that global warming is a result of something 'cosmic' and not necessarily human doing? When you think about it, the ice age happened, obviously, long before humans had the power to effect the environment. It was something that was completely beyond human control. Though I do believe global warming has at least something to do with human activity, and we can and should do all we can to stop it, I have to also wonder if we're dealing with something way bigger than ourselves. I don't have the answers to any of this--can't even seem to solve certain problems in my own backyard, so to speak, but just wanted to let you know I'm glad for your posts. They help raise awareness, and help us all look at things from different points of view. I just wonder if blaming is the way to solve it. I don't know. I hope somehow that as a race, humanity can and will 'evolve' to the point where we can make serious changes for the good, not just here in our realm, but beyond . . .
Thanks for sharing this. It's very interesting and worth considering. Personally, I don't have much respect for Bush, but that's just me.
