Hi

Just read your message as I have taken neurofen for the 4th day of a headache. I am just contemplating contacting my gynae to remove the Mirena. I feel like I need to get this bloody thing removed after reading all the complaints. I have headaches, hip pain at night time or if I walk any more than an hour, back pain if I sit too long,and definitely mood swings and depression, I have two kids 9 and 7 and have the mirena in nearly seven years now, my second one was inserted September 2005 under GA like the first one so I didn't feel any pain, I had two C-sections so my gynae told me it would be too painful if I got it put in without GA. I would just like to hear from anyone who has had it removed how their periods are now.
