Hello Baysides,

Although I can't recall ever seeing a post with your own words instead of those from "visions", and don't normally respond to such, I'll make this one exception.

On the positive side, it is commmendable for anyone to be so dedicated to someone/something. Selfless devotion is a rare quality today. And the words in this particular case at least agree with the Bible's teachings about the fact that God is a trinity.

However, I have many, many serious objections to the teachings of the RCC, but especially to these "visions". I'm not a former Catholic like the others, but I have done a fair amount of research on many religious beliefs. I also own a copy of The Canons and Decrees of the Council of Trent and read the whole thing. Vatican II reaffirmed the Council of Trent and stands by it today.

There are over 100 "anathemas" (curses) on people like me, who believe these things:

----that baptism does not save anyone and should only be done on people old enough to understand the gospel
----that salvation is not partially obtained by the Sacraments or by any good works
----that Jesus made one sacrifice for all sin and for all time, and therefore cannot be sacrificed anymore
----that the bread and wine of the Eucharist does not literally become the body and blood of Jesus
----that Communion is only symbolic and not salvific
----etc.

To their credit, they do believe that God is a trinity (yet claim the Muslims worship the same God), that Jesus died for our sins (but not all of them), that Jesus was born of a virgin (whom she called her Savior), and that the Bible (as they define it) is God's Word. And there are many devout Catholics, who are sincere and faithful to their church.

You can see in the () above that although they use many of the same words as other churches and seem to believe as we do, there are subtle differences in how those words are defined. It is a deceptive practice which is common among the cults. But understand that it is the church leadership I fault, not every individual follower.

The RCC open admits to putting its own teachings and traditions over the Bible, even to the point of brazenly contradicting it. This is indistinguishable from the Muslim god's "abrogation", that is, contradiction of earlier commands and teachings, just because he can. The RCC also claims its magesterium alone has authority to interpret the Bible, such that the followers are commanded to blindly accept whatever they decree, without question or criticism.

I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I do not consider the RCC a Christian organization at all, but a giant cult. Its followers live in fear of excommunication and being condemned to hell if they ever leave, keeping many from stopping the idolatrous practice of the Mass, even when they realize that it is a pagan ritual sacrifce.

And these "visions" or apparitions are demonic-- every one of them. It isn't necessarily what they say on the surface that gives them away, but subtle deception. They all, without exception, perpetuate the "mother of God" heresy. Mary was the mother of Jesus' HUMANITY alone. She herself was never divine, never God's "mother", never exalted over the other disciples.

About that "mother of God" thing: they also call Mary God's "wife", and it's totally disgusting when you think about it. Joseph was engaged to her, so if even God "married" her (and without a proper ceremony!), then God committed adultery with Mary! Engagement at that time was legally binding, or Joseph would not have considered divorcing her when she told him she was pregnant. And how could Mary then be God's "mother" if she was already God's "wife"?? And to state the obvious, God is eternal and Mary was born like any other human and did not exist before that. Therefore she couldn't possibly have been God's mother.

Yet in every apparition, every message, they portray the baby Jesus in "Mary's" arms or at her side. This "Mary" is worshipped (yes, worshipped) as if she were deity, and many in the RCC are trying to get her named "co-redemptrix", that is, co-savior!! Utter blasphemy!

The "Mary" of the apparitions is a demon, an impersonator, a fake.

For these and a thousand other reasons, I would ask that you don't post any more words from those demons in my blog. You are welcom to ask questions but please conider what I wrote here and dare to question the RCC's blasphemous teachings and just read the Bible.
