I used to be a Catholic, so don't misunderstand me. I fully recognize that there are many in the Roman Catholic Church who really do have a heart for God and love Him very much (I consider this an understatement). But the Catholic teachings (just like many traditional teachings OF ANY denomination) only teach according to HUMAN understanding (our natural limitations). That's the reason why we are all here at Curezone,...to break free of the traditions. The only true recording of ancient scripture about God consists of 66 books (39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament). "Testament" is another word for "Covenant". Basically that means that the old way of loving God is specified in the Old Testament and the new way of loving Him is specified in the New Testament. God never said "Wait to here further messages from My Son and others in the 20th century". If He did that, then everyone previous to the 20th century is just plain out of luck, but also that would mean scripture was a waste of time and that He was simply teasing us for 19 centuries. The main thing is that you love Him very much (most important ABOVE ALL). Do not fall for all the regimentation you are being taught. The Catholic church (like many denominations) has a command structure (like an army),...monsignor, priest, bishop, archbishop, cardinal, etc., but God is not an army and doesn't need "officers" to tell any "troops" what to do. We are not God's "troops", we are His children and He loves us very much. He doesn't FORCE us to do anything. His wishes are that we WANT to love Him and we should WANT to PLEASE Him instead of crushing ourselves with COMMANDS.

It is true that not everybody's heart is set right, and many of the insincere have become our teachers. They were very happy having the status of teacher and they never let it bother their conscience that they were teaching us wrong simply because they enjoyed that status, BUT, it is your heart. God wants you to protect that heart and save it for Him.

ALWAYS, love Him VERY MUCH,...with ALL your heart, mind, soul and strength.
I know you can, because love is a virtue.
