Who really knows OR CARES about UFOs, but there is so much that is unknown and simply not understood about reality (nature and beyond). There have been so many dreamers and mad scientists all throughout history that have conjured up dreams of their own and put them on paper or made them delusional hobbies of a sort that it has at least become the weird science of today (Hitler and the US military experimented with UFOs). If you've ever read about the scientist Nikola Tesla and all that he did with electricity, you'd simply give up questioning any unknown about 'worldly reality'.

In 1908, in Tunguska, Siberia, a fire burned 20 square miles of woods for 4 days. A hundred years later, nobody can agree on what crashed there (no debris other than woods).

The USSR also experimented with UFO technology. "The Secret KGB UFO Files" (Discovery Channel, as I remember) showed video of the Soviet military investigating a UFO crash in a field in the 1960's and MIG sightings of UFOs (of course, anything can be faked like our moon landing (the "Parkes Radio Telescope" in Australia was supposed to recieve the video signals, but messed up on that, strong winds shut it down, what conspiracy?, it was simply an accident). Some conspiracies (schemes) are real (covert, subversive) and some are only to "save face" (thought of as INNOCENT cover-ups).
