I have now only been a month mirena free and the side effects that have changed my life seem to be getting worse... I still have terrible swellings in my hands and feet and my joints are constantly in pain to the extent that most mornings I find it difficult to be active. I have delayed going to see the doctor because I somehow believed that by removing this thing all these problems would go away. Anyone know how long we are going to suffer like this or whether its worth going to see anymore doctors who dont bother to do the research on this?????? I am terrified these side effects are going to be with me forever. Whoever invented this thing??
