Well, thankfully something inside me stirred when a few of my friends warned me about the side effects. I have done my research and I am canncelling my appt. to get the mirena. I have all these problems before I get on something that makes me worse???? I dont think so.

I went to the gyn to get birth control and get thyroid tested for heavy bleeding and now bleeding in between periods. I have crazy mood swings before my periods and depression as well. I am already chubby enough with the extra weight gain. Why wouldn't my gyn just say " do your research before you decide" ? There is enough info and complaints to have this crap taken off the market. I have yet to find a website with a handful of good reviews. What are they waiting on? Death? Is that what makes it a bad product. I think it should be all these bad reviews going forward to the company and telling them.
