Sad but true, the "stuff" people buy gets in the way, and they really don't give but invest. They expect a return of some kind for their "generosity", whether it's in the form of honor or influence. As Jesus said, people like that have already received their reward.

I haven't googled "churchianity", but I'm not surprised at your findings. It is always a derogatory term, but is being used a lot by enemies of the gospel as well as those of us who try to wake believers up to what the Bible actually says instead of long tradition.
