Do yourself a favor and go to a big bookstore, to the health section, and either in "women's health" or "general health" look for books on hormones written by Dr. Elizabeth Vliet - and get yourself saliva tested or blood tested for what specific hormones may be off. Testing is the only way to know for sure which may be off - many people guess at it based only on what the internet says, or on symptoms, but this doesn't work well for many: it isn't always "too much estrogen from the environement", sometimes it's not enough estrogen in the body, and it isn't always "not enough progesterone in the body", despite what many natural practitioners say (and I used to alway believe otherwise).
The same symptoms: depression and skin problems, can occur in someone who doesn't have enought natural estrogen for her age as it can in someone else who doesn't have enough progesterone. And the testimonials on Amazon.com from those who read Vliet's books, got tested (you can get tested via salivatest.com yourself), and used the right natural hormone for their own situation are quite amazing.
I used to blindly use progesterone cream because the natural practitioners all said that we all need it - then found out via testing that my natural estrogen is actually to low, and progesterone too high.
Your local bookstore can order in Vliet's books (usually with no obligation to buy them if you look them over when they arrive in the store and decide you don't want to buy them).
There are many other books on natural hormone testing, but many are heavy on the "estrogen is alwaysto high". Without testing, noone can say which hormone is off in her body.
