Well, nice to hear from you again AHG!!
That is a very interesting way to diagnose MS. I wish there were something, anything, like that for "whatever my condition is" [Fibromyalgia]. I tried it, I do not get those sensations described as Lhermitte's Sign. However, I used to have a very spastic neck area, where turning my head, or flexion [forwards drop], would really grab me, but mostly in the neck muscles themselves, triggering a headache.
"Muscle Disease" is what I have.
I now think there is something about the RNA and the Mitochondria. Here are two links, with quotes:

Mitochondria provide the energy a cell needs to move, divide, produce secretory products, contract - in short, they are the power centers of the cell. They are about the size of bacteria but may have different shapes depending on the cell type.
Mitochondria are membrane-bound organelles, and like the nucleus have a double membrane. The outer membrane is fairly smooth. But the inner membrane is highly convoluted, forming folds called cristae. The cristae greatly increase the inner membrane's surface area. It is on these cristae that food (sugar) is combined with oxygen to produce ATP - the primary energy source for the cell.

The food we eat is oxidized to produce high-energy electrons that are converted to stored energy. This energy is stored in high energy phosphate bonds in a molecule called adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. ATP is converted from adenosine diphosphate by adding the phosphate group with the high-energy bond. Various reactions in the cell can either use energy (whereby the ATP is converted back to ADP, releasing the high energy bond) or produce it (whereby the ATP is produced from ADP).
-----------------
What do you think AHG? Possible? - that my muscles do not use energy in the right way, and so they get starved for something or another and then just go into spasm, before getting weak or tired. I only get small indications that I have gone too far with some activity, and then WHAM I am getting spasms and pains and so on.
The GUT muscles are also affected, of course, and that is partly what is wrong with my gut - dysmotilty, "Iatrogenic" or not.
