I am also from the uk and have found this site very useful. I have had the mirena for nearly 4months and I want it removed. I have suffered with back pain and have had an x-ray and have been told my 7th disc has degenerative wear! My doc says it has nothing to do with the mirena but after reading the comments on this site I strongly dissagree. the pain i have had has been so bad even worse when in bed so dont get much sleep. I also have acne on back chest neck and now face it seems to have worked its way up!! Anyway will let you know if things improve after removel.
